Responsibilities

  • Perform precision TIG welding according to MOT and Blueprint specifications
  • Inspect raw materials before welding to ensure quality standards
  • Examine completed welds for compliance and workmanship
  • Select the correct weld rods using color-coded identification
  • Tag and report nonconforming parts to Quality Inspection
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and precision

Requirements

  • 5 years of TIG/Fusion welding experience in aerospace manufacturing
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment
  • Ability to pass a welding qualification test on .030 material thickness
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Strong visual acuity (near 20/20, distance 20/30) with the ability to distinguish colors
  • Strong English communication skills
