Overview

Johnson Matthey is seeking an Electrical Graduate Engineer to join their Graduate Engineering Program, which supports the professional progression of future engineers through technical and leadership development while working on high-priority business projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engineered solutions for production improving safety, sustainability performance, and reliability.
  • Commission new plant equipment and develop/deliver training for operators.
  • Optimize mechanical and maintenance processes.
  • Work with Electrical AC Power Systems, Motors and Drives, Control Instrumentation, and Grounding systems.
  • Implement standardized JM processes to drive continuous improvement toward goals.
  • Monitor energy, water, waste, and emissions to identify sustainability opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering field with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
  • Geographically flexible and willing to relocate to any JM site for three placements during the development program.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a career aspiration to lead others.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships.
