Overview

WET is seeking a Senior Soldering Technician to join their team, where they create extraordinary experiences by combining water, movement, light, and imagination. The role involves precision soldering and assembly of LED lighting systems for various water features.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision through-hole soldering on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
• Inspect workmanship for consistent solder joints and assembly quality.
• Assemble LED light heads, cable assemblies, connectors, and power supplies.
• Prepare, dress, route, terminate, and repair cables and connectors.
• Stage components and build lighting hardware from individual parts.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and test instructions.
• Use small manual, powered, and pneumatic tools for assembly.
• Perform electrical and functional checks and document results.
• Handle fragile components with care during the build and test process.
• Collaborate with production engineers to clarify build requirements.
• Complete work safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least five years of hands-on electrical or electronics assembly experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in through-hole soldering and PCB assembly.
• Ability to read and follow drawings, schematics, and assembly procedures.
• Practical understanding of electrical connections and mechanical integration.
• Experience using small assembly tools and electrical test equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle delicate components.
• Collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Additional Information

• Ability to lift and move items weighing 30 pounds or more.
• Availability to work overtime and weekends as production needs require.
