Overview

MISTRAS Group is seeking experienced NDT LVL II UT/MT/PT Technicians to join their team in the New York/New Jersey area. This full-time position involves performing nondestructive testing inspections using Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) methods.

Responsibilities

  • Perform UT, MT, and PT inspections on a variety of components and equipment.
  • Set up and operate NDT equipment.
  • Interpret and evaluate inspection results according to applicable procedures and standards.
  • Complete accurate inspection reports and documentation.
  • Maintain NDT equipment and ensure proper calibration.
  • Follow company, client, and safety requirements.
  • Communicate inspection findings with supervisors, clients, and other team members.
  • Maintain required certifications and training.

Requirements

  • Previous NDT inspection experience required.
  • UT, MT, and PT experience preferred.
  • Current NDT certifications preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow written procedures and inspection instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must currently reside in the Los Angeles, CA area.
  • Must be willing to work locally in the Los Angeles area.
