Overview

Thompson Pipe Group is a family-owned business specializing in engineering, contracting, and manufacturing of various pipe products for infrastructure needs. They are the largest and most diverse provider of drainage, sanitary, pressure, and trench-less pipes in North America and are currently seeking a Lead Person with welding knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate critical areas of pipe finishing, outlets/specials and loading.
  • Coordinate and assure proper material deliveries.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and production objectives are met by being a presence on the floor.
  • Develop action plans to meet deadlines and responsibilities.
  • Monitor personnel for adherence to company policies and productivity.
  • Read blueprints and specifications and be technically proficient.
  • Produce a quality product that meets customer expectations.
  • Perform requirements to satisfy company procedures including administrative tasks.
  • Maintain order and strive for zero defects and incidents.
  • Evaluate personnel.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • 2 years of leading experience in manufacturing or production support.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
