Overview

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a Maintenance / Locksmith Mechanic for the Texas Health Harris Methodist Hurst-Euless-Bedford location. The role involves performing a variety of maintenance and locksmith duties during the 1st Shift schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot equipment sets and replace plumbing fixtures.
  • Rod drains and pipes, identify and stop leaks, and rebuild flush valves.
  • Supervise and adjust the building automation system for comfort.
  • Conduct generator testing and inspections, replace light fixtures and bulbs.
  • Replace ceiling tiles and respond to general building issues.
  • Use drawings and manuals for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Coordinate specialized work with vendors and contractors.
  • Install, repair, and maintain keys and locks.
  • Insert new or repaired tumblers into locks to change combinations.
  • Install locks and lock systems using various methods.
  • Maintain fire door assemblies throughout the facilities.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on emergency power systems and HVAC equipment.
  • Conduct building and mechanical room inspections.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of related experience as a maintenance worker/locksmith preferred.
  • 2 years of trade school or on-the-job related experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks.
  • Driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Experience with Building Automation Systems.
  • Experience with Computerized Work Order Systems preferred.
