Overview

NextEra Energy Resources is one of America’s largest wholesale electricity generators, and as a Wind Technician, you will ensure the safe and optimal performance of wind farm operations through equipment maintenance and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular preventative maintenance and repair on wind turbine power generation equipment.
  • Complete electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Maintain all company supplied equipment, facilities and tooling.
  • Apply basic understanding of the technical and process functions.
  • Manage own training schedules and meet all training requirements within designated time frames.
  • Meet attendance requirements.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Experience: 0+ years
  • Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
  • Ability to climb a wind turbine up to 300 feet
  • Post-Offer Functional Capacity Eval
