Overview

We are building a talent pipeline for future opportunities in the welding inspection industry, seeking motivated candidates for the role of Welding Inspector. This position focuses on ensuring safety, quality, and compliance in natural gas distribution projects through thorough inspections and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Review and interpret welding procedures, codes, and standards.
  • Identify and address welding defects.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients and contractors.
  • Deliver excellent work in ensuring the integrity and safety of projects.

Requirements

  • Certification such as CWI or CPWI is required.
  • Prior welding experience in gas pipeline construction or maintenance is essential.
  • Strong field experience and a solid understanding of welding practices in utility environments.
  • Enjoys working in the field and solving challenges in real-time.
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

  • Position pays between $30 and $45 hourly and is a non-exempt position.
