Overview

CB&I® is the world’s leading designer and builder of storage facilities, tanks and terminals. The CNC Burn Table Operator is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC burn tables to cut metal materials according to specifications, requiring technical skills and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the burn table for production runs by selecting the correct programs and ensuring proper alignment of materials.
  • Safely operate the CNC burn table, monitoring the cutting process and making adjustments as needed.
  • Load and unload materials onto the burn table using overhead cranes or forklifts.
  • Inspect finished parts for accuracy and ensure they meet specified quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the burn table.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols related to operating the burn table.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities.
  • Ensure all operations comply with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience running a CNC machine.
