Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Sheetmetal Mechanic to join our Houston team. This role is responsible for the fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair of sheet metal products and HVAC related equipment in commercial and industrial environments.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components including ductwork, plenums, louvers, air devices, and air-moving equipment.
  • Set up and operate fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, bending rolls, and other metal-forming equipment.
  • Use hand and power tools to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required specifications.
  • Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
  • Install HVAC systems and components in accordance with project requirements and safety standards.
  • Inspect and test completed installations for quality and conformance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sheet metal work within the mechanical/HVAC industry.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Skilled in the use of metal fabrication tools and machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
