Overview

Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. They are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the structural design of critical public infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater facilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the structural scope for projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Assist with design and detailed document production.
• Ensure project quality and strengthen the capabilities of the structural team.
• Work directly with clients and project stakeholders to support project execution.
• Contribute to proposals and technical approaches for projects.
• Apply understanding of construction methods and constructability in designs.
• Evaluate existing structures and develop repair and strengthening solutions.
• Coordinate with contractors to address construction constraints.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 10 years of structural engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience in the design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and masonry systems.
• Experience with design of water and/or wastewater facility structures and flood protection systems.
• Experience performing structural condition assessments and developing rehabilitation/repair design.
• Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (preferred).
• Structural Engineer (SE) license (preferred).
• OSHA 10 HR Training (preferred).

Additional Information

• Salary range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000.
