Overview

IDEX is seeking a Welder for the 2nd Shift at Mott Corporation in Farmington, CT. This role involves performing welding operations to detailed specifications and engineering requirements in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding operations to detailed specifications and engineering requirements
  • Properly clean and prepare components prior to welding
  • Maintain qualification to Mott MES welding specifications
  • Maintain cleanliness and standards within a clean-room work environment
  • Adhere to all Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and safety requirements

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of manufacturing experience with TIG welding
  • Prior experience with TIG welding equipment preferred
  • TIG welding proficiency
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, prints, and specifications
  • Understanding of quality and cleanliness requirements in manufacturing environments
