Overview

McCormick & Company, Incorporated, a global leader in flavor, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to work in Dallas, TX. This role involves maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on various production equipment under the direction of the Maintenance Team Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on production equipment.
  • Interact closely with co-workers in and outside of the Maintenance Department.
  • Analyze and correct problems on a wide range of equipment and support systems.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and become a certified forklift operator.
  • Maneuver around equipment, climb stairs, and use ladders.
  • Work overtime and weekends with minimal notice.
  • Work at heights of up to 45 ft on material handling equipment.
  • Utilize CMMS and Microsoft Office for maintenance tasks.
  • Implement Planned Maintenance practices.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance crafts including electrical, mechanics, welding, and machine shop.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work across functions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
