Overview

The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 is responsible for troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance on various automated equipment at the Fairburn, Georgia location. This role requires flexibility in hours and includes overtime work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking and component adjustment/replacement.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
• Build and close work orders into the asset management system with detailed data.
• Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and determine the resources needed to resolve them.
• Locate and supervise spare parts from inventory.
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.
• Respond to service calls and address equipment failures and faults.
• Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to tackle them.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
• An associate's degree or vocational technical training is advantageous.
• 2-3 years of experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred.
• Proven experience in the area of responsibility and successful demonstration of position and key responsibilities.
• Ability to lift and move material up to 50 pounds.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
• Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
• Ability to work in diverse conditions: small spaces, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, noise, vibration, standing long hours on concrete, wet or uneven surfaces.
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10–12 hours.
• Competent in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google G-Suite.
• Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as required.

Additional Information

• The hours for this position are Wednesday 11pm to 5am, Thursday through Friday 5pm to 5am, and every alternate Saturday and Sunday 5pm to 5am.
• Overtime work is required and as needed.
