Overview

The NDT Level I - 2nd Shift position involves performing basic NDT tasks under supervision, including staging work and moving products through the NDT process. Candidates must have experience or education in NDT and the ability to interpret work orders.

Responsibilities

  • Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
  • Adhere to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
  • Correctly interpret work orders.
  • Perform basic NDT support tasks such as staging work.
  • Work in a team environment, following instructions and assisting others as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • The ability to read and write English.
  • The ability to perform basic shop math, including fractions and decimals.
  • The ability to use basic inspection tools.
  • The ability to read and interpret work instructions and basic prints and dimensions.
  • The ability to acquire Level 1 NDT certification (FPI & MPI).
  • Minimum 0-1 years of recent and relevant work experience, NDT certification courses, or NDT training.
  • High School diploma or GED is expected.
