Responsibilities

• Perform a range of carpentry tasks including framing, installing structures, and executing finish carpentry.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Measure and cut materials accurately.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.

Requirements

• Carpentry and Finish Carpentry skills, with experience in commercial or similar construction environments.
• Proficiency with Hand Tools and Power Tools, including safe operation and basic maintenance.
• Experience with Framing, structural installation, and reading construction drawings or blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work on-site in New York, NY, including standing, lifting, and performing physical tasks for extended periods.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices; OSHA training or equivalent is a plus.
• Prior experience as a carpenter in commercial construction; relevant trade school or apprenticeship is beneficial.
