The Carpenter role is a full-time, on-site position in New York, NY, involving various carpentry tasks for commercial projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a range of carpentry tasks including framing, installing structures, and executing finish carpentry.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Measure and cut materials accurately.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work on-site in New York, NY, including standing, lifting, and performing physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of construction site safety practices; OSHA training or equivalent is a plus.
