Overview

We are seeking a full-time Cable Assembler responsible for building precision cable assemblies for critical industry applications. This role involves operating various machines and ensuring quality and accuracy in a multi-stage production process.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize measuring equipment to ensure dimensional conformance and proper production setups.
  • Operate rotary swagers, pneumatic and hydraulic crimpers and presses, grinders, and load testing machinery.
  • Verify, inspect, and change out dies and other tooling as necessary.
  • Respond to abnormal equipment behavior and notify supervisors or maintenance personnel.
  • Identify different materials based on labels and specifications for production orders.
  • Communicate clearly with management regarding production status and material concerns.
  • Follow production drawings, work instructions, and part specifications.
  • Perform in-process inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and comply with all safety procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with high attention to detail required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, accuracy, and consistency required.
  • Able to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment required.
  • Ability to stand and or sit for long periods of time required.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. required.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings is preferred.

  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:30PM - 12:00AM.
