The Production Maintenance Technician role involves repairing and maintaining production equipment to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs on production equipment.
  • Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance to prolong the useful life of equipment.
  • Perform equipment change-overs and production line set-ups prior to production changes.
  • Overhaul and install new equipment on machines as directed.
  • Rebuild, fabricate, and manage parts inventory to ensure adequate stock.
  • Attend meetings and assist with special projects and events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or GED) or equivalent degree/certificate required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must become forklift certified within 1 month of hire.
  • Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Additional Information

  • Schedule: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, rotating 2-2-3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on).
  • Overtime and weekends required based on business need.
