Overview

As a Welder I at StandardAero, you will fabricate, repair, and assemble aircraft engine and component parts using specialized welding processes. The company is a global leader in aerospace MRO services, offering a stable and respectful culture that supports long-term career development.

Responsibilities

  • Produce a variety of parts from shop drawings to conform to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
  • Operate brazing and soldering equipment
  • Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears, and other metal straightening and bending machines
  • Participate in continuous improvement of processes
  • Cross train in other complementary skills to support production requirements
  • Observe all applicable safety requirements

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3 years of welding experience
  • Completion of a welding apprenticeship program or equivalent hands-on training
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance for approximately 25% of the workday
