Job Description

Overview

Superior Tube is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift to set up, operate, and inspect equipment and materials used in precision metal tubing manufacturing. The company specializes in small-diameter, thin-wall metal tubing for critical applications in various industries, including aerospace and medical.

Responsibilities

  • Provide recommendations to resolve safety concerns and reduce risks.
  • Set up, operate, adjust equipment, and lay out material according to instructions.
  • Measure and visually inspect products, applying quality control methods during processing.
  • Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to ensure work centers are operational.
  • Change tooling, fluids, and media on operated equipment.
  • Handle and transport materials and supplies manually as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial facilities.
  • Experience in metal working operations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with equipment such as tube drawing, furnaces, and metal saws is preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic hand tools; experience with micrometers or calipers is preferred.
  • Must operate with professional and ethical integrity.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Must meet essential physical functions of the position.

  • This is an on-site position in a manufacturing facility.
  • Work schedule is 12am-8am Monday-Friday.
