Overview

Gwynedd Manufacturing is a rapidly growing defense contractor and state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in North Wales, PA, serving the U.S. Department of Defense and federal law enforcement agencies with high-quality firearms and accessories. They are seeking a Finishing and Blasting Operator to prepare metallic and nonmetallic parts while ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machines as programmed or perform manual processes with limited direct supervision.
  • Communicate any malfunctions or quality issues immediately to a supervisor.
  • Deburr, polish, and blast parts to prepare them for coating.
  • Operate blasting equipment as required.
  • Inspect parts for visual defects and anomalies.
  • Apply knowledge of standard Mil-Spec dimensions commonly used on firearms components.
  • Work safely and follow all company safety procedures.
  • Meet production and quality goals within department timelines.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a machine operator.
  • Basic math skills, including fundamental geometry.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Additional Information

  • This is a First Shift role with hours being from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
