Overview

Join Worldwide Flight Services as a Facilities Maintenance Technician, a hands-on role responsible for supporting the safe and reliable operation of cargo facilities. This entry-level position emphasizes learning and safety compliance while delivering high-quality service to stakeholders in a dynamic airport cargo environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain superior customer service and safe working practices at all times.
  • Execute minor building repairs including basic plumbing, electrical work, painting, and lighting maintenance.
  • Respond to corrective and emergency work orders, performing in-house repairs within qualification limits.
  • Communicate with various parties on the work performed and present status of specialty systems.
  • Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting, cleaning, repair, replacement, testing, and reassembly of facility equipment.
  • React to call outs from the Control Room Operator or manager executing service calls.
  • Perform preventative maintenance including inspection, adjustment, cleaning, and preparing follow-up work orders if needed.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule for a 24/7 operation including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Background check and drug screen required.
  • Must be able to attain and sustain an Airport I.D. Badge.
  • Must have at least 2+ years experience in a technical maintenance role.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
