Overview

At Greene, Tweed, you'll find cutting-edge technology and world-class polymer expertise in an environment that embraces diversity and celebrates success. This position involves working with and creating technological solutions as a White Chemraz Finisher on the 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all federal and state environmental, health and safety regulations.
  • Set up and finish trim parts on appropriate equipment.
  • Set up and operate large laser cutting machines and automated inscription machine.
  • Load and unload ovens.
  • Perform final inspection of parts using gauges, micrometers, and non-contact measurement tools.
  • Follow all SPC procedures.
  • Rework parts as necessary.
  • Trim and inspect all parts as required.
  • Record daily activities including clock offs and special projects.
  • Record all information on GT data collection system as required.
  • Perform PC transactions such as labor and material usage.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties in the White Chemraz area as assigned.
  • Pull flash, cut vents, and count parts.
  • Rinse and bag parts as required.
  • Transport work in process and finished goods within and between departments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret prints.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions.
  • Maintain annual QC certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret production drawings and work instructions.
  • Ability to work in positions requiring frequent pushing, grasping, and repetitive movement.
  • Ability to occasionally work in positions requiring pulling, twisting, and reaching.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to work in alternating positions of sitting and standing for long periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs without mechanical lifting devices.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • This position requires U.S. Person status for authorized access to data controlled under ITAR.
