Overview

WM is hiring for a Plant Maintenance Technician to ensure a safe and efficient work environment while providing opportunities for career advancement and financial stability.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment and components.
  • Maintain the Daily Equipment Inspections backlog.
  • Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and inform the Sr. Plant Maintenance Manager of additional work needs.
  • Inspect the quality of third-party repairs and rebuilds.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance production, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Multitask and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Perform work with limited supervision while maintaining high performance standards.
  • Be flexible with work schedule, including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards.

Requirements

  • 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Be over 18 years of age.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
