Job Description

Overview

Energy Transfer is a master limited partnership that owns and operates one of the largest and most diversified portfolios of energy assets in the United States. This is a twelve (12) week paid internship program beginning May 2027 for students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate student in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering preferred (Petroleum Engineering acceptable)
  • Good analytical skills to perform calculations and diagnose problems
  • Good communication skills to facilitate cooperation between different functional groups
  • Ability to identify multiple alternatives and/or recommendations for a given problem
  • Ability to facilitate the implementation of solutions
  • Self-motivated individual with a high level of initiative
  • Ability to balance multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and shift established priorities in response to changing business needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound organizational skills
  • Proactively initiates, develops, and maintains effective working relationships
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment
  • Competent with personal computer applications (Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Additional Information

  • Interns will spend time in the office and in the field (pipeline and/or industrial manufacturing environment)
  • Personal Protective Equipment and safety training will be provided
