Job Description

Overview

Ferguson is seeking a Welder with welding experience and a commitment to customer service. The company has been providing quality supplies since 1953 and operates in various industries, aiming to simplify complex projects for its customers.

Responsibilities

  • Weld outlets onto steel pipe for the fire sprinkler industry.
  • Perform specialty welding tasks such as spool pieces and flanges.
  • Inspect work for defects, dimensions, alignment, end preparations, and seam splits in pipe.
  • Maintain a clean and safe welding station while conforming to quality and performance standards.
  • Report all equipment malfunctions, safety issues, and required repairs.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of welding experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload.
  • Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
  • Attention to detail, demonstrated integrity, and professionalism.
  • Desire to learn new things.
