Overview

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is seeking an experienced RR Bldgs Millwright Specialist to inspect, repair, and maintain various electro-mechanical equipment, contributing to the reliability and efficiency of the transportation system.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, disassemble, clean, repair, and test motors and controls on equipment such as escalators, elevators, air compressors, pumps, cranes, and hoists.
  • Locate troubles in electro-mechanical equipment and perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Inspect, clean, adjust, lubricate, and repair motors, motor controls, bearings, valves, and pumps.
  • Comply with safety and security policies and report any safety concerns.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Must complete Qualifications Test and Performance Test.
  • Valid driver's license or equivalent; CDL license required later.
  • At least 3 years of experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment.
