Overview

Carlisle Companies is a leading manufacturer of building envelope products and solutions focused on energy efficiency and sustainability. The Maintenance Lead is responsible for performing repairs on machinery and equipment throughout the plant while also managing minor administrative functions.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment and perform necessary actions when malfunctions occur.
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities as dictated by the work schedule.
  • Distribute work orders and process/summarize work order data.
  • Keep MDI Board current and up to date.
  • Comply with regulatory and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide training to Maintenance technicians I, II, and III as needed.
  • Articulate machine issues to vendors and engineers to resolve technical issues.
  • Handle and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Five years minimum maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical principles.
  • Obtain and maintain OSHA 10 certification.
  • Prior leadership experience leading a maintenance team.
  • Some knowledge and experience in using a forklift and scissor lift.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to complete assigned tasks.
