Job Description

Overview

We're looking for a full-time Entry Level Welder (Floating Shelf Fabricator) for our day shift. You will be integral to our fabrication team, utilizing hand and power tools, and performing MIG welding to create high-quality floating shelves while applying lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing hand and power tools for fabrication.
  • Performing MIG welding to create floating shelves.
  • Ensuring timely production and delivery of products.
  • Providing production with support supplies.
  • Fabricating stock items.

Requirements

  • Maintaining cleanliness and order in the shop.
  • Troubleshooting and improving shop systems.
  • Being reliable, punctual, and able to stay for the entire shift.
  • Working well under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Having excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Taking direction well and being open to improvement.
  • Communicating effectively with all kinds of people.
  • Enjoying teamwork and striving toward excellence.
  • Reading construction/shop drawings and specifications.
  • Being familiar with fabrication processes from design to assembly.
  • Passing a basic skill test with MIG equipment.
  • Having some paid work history or schooling preferred.
