Overview

Westmor Industries is one of the fastest growing private companies in America, specializing in storage, transport, and dispensing solutions for petroleum, propane, and other liquids and gases. The Mechanic role involves performing repairs on trucks and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Performing general repairs on propane and refined fuel trucks and transports
  • Operating equipment in a 100% safe manner following appropriate regulations, policies and procedures
  • Ensuring work meets Westmor’s standard of quality and customers’ expectations
  • Completing repairs on time
  • Working safely around gas, diesel, LP and Anhydrous Ammonia
  • Inspecting trucks and trailers to determine necessary service/repairs
  • Repairing piping systems, pumps, valves and meters
  • Calibrating meters
  • Troubleshooting and repairing 12 volt wiring systems
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Ability to use gas torch and plasma cutters
  • Welding skills
  • Strong mechanical background or experience
  • Understanding of 12V electrical systems is preferred
