Overview

Tuscan Dairy is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join their team, ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing maintenance requirements on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems. Tuscan Dairy Farms is a farmer-owned brand of Dairy Farmers of America, dedicated to delivering quality dairy products to communities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • Complete maintenance requirements on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems.
  • Safely operate power equipment.
  • Assist the plant maintenance team with coordination of inspections and special events.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum one year experience.
  • Boiler Experience preferred.
  • Ammonia Refrigeration Experience preferred.
  • NJ Boiler License preferred.
  • NJ Refrigeration License preferred.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary.
  • Must be able to work in a wet environment.
  • Must be able to legibly write entries for record keeping.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
  • Driver’s license required to operate a company-owned vehicle.

  • Schedule: 10:00pm - 6:30am; Off Friday and Saturday.
