Responsibilities

  • Ensure production lines and machinery are optimally set up and functioning.
  • Conduct detailed inspections and diagnostics to identify potential malfunctions.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions to address equipment failures.
  • Develop and execute a preventative maintenance schedule to optimize equipment lifespan.
  • Collaborate with management to maintain an updated inventory of parts and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including preventative maintenance logs and work orders.
  • Use mechanical and technical skills to install, repair, and test equipment.
  • Perform fabrication and welding as needed for production-related assets.
  • Ensure proper installation and functionality by following equipment manuals.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations while applying safety measures.
  • Act as a safety ambassador, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
  • Engage with leadership to support new equipment installation and plant expansion projects.
