Overview

The Maintenance Tech Level 2 position involves performing basic preventive maintenance on CNC machines and minor repairs on various manual machines, requiring good communication skills and a basic understanding of carpentry. Candidates typically have 3-6 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
  • Adhere to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
  • Correctly interpret work orders.
  • Lift up to 35lbs.
  • Able to work overtime as needed.
  • Work in a team environment, following instructions and assisting others as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • The ability to read and write English.
  • The ability to perform basic shop math, including fractions and decimals.
  • The ability to use basic hand tools such as wrenches.
  • The ability to use basic inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
  • The ability to navigate the intranet to locate process documents - basic computer skills.
  • The ability to read and interpret work instructions and basic prints and dimensions.
  • Typically 3-6 years of experience.
  • GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.
