Overview

Waverly Heights is seeking a full-time General Mechanic to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of residents through maintenance and repairs of mechanical systems. The role is vital to the community's functionality and requires a skilled individual who values teamwork and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of mechanical systems throughout the community.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Respond promptly to work orders and requests from various departments to address mechanical issues.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify potential issues and implement solutions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a general mechanic or in a similar role is required.
  • Solid understanding of maintenance procedures and mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other facilities-related equipment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability and willingness to learn and work well in a team environment.
