Overview

The Machine Operator 1 position at RTX involves operating various production machines and performing routine operations. RTX is a leading aerospace and defense company, known for its innovation and commitment to solving complex problems.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of production machines including CMM, polish wheel, airflow, and grinding machines.
  • Read and interpret process sheets, deburr and clean parts, and gauge parts.
  • Make minor offset changes with oversight and utilize measuring devices.
  • Document labor in Solumina and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Complete Daily Walk Around and maintain communication logs.
  • Keep work area and equipment clean and maintain quality levels.
  • Transport products and equipment weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Adhere to ACE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required.
  • Follow all EH & S guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (e.g. G.E.D in the US).
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Additional Information

  • Position is onsite with a weekend night shift from Saturday to Monday, 1800-0600.
  • Candidates are responsible for commuting to and from the assigned site.
