Overview

The Laboratory Technician I position at a Medical Devices Company in Franklin Lakes, NJ involves conducting testing and experiments, writing technical reports, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations. This is a contract role for US Citizens or eligible visa holders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct bench-level engineering tests and research experiments.
  • Support the workflow process for materials R&D labs including instrument operation and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with quality policies and safety regulations.
  • Engage stakeholders effectively and complete assignments in a timely manner.
  • Actively seek training to improve skills and disseminate technical lessons.
  • Demonstrate accountability for the successful completion of assigned tasks.
  • Encourage communication within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical or Science Field.
  • 0-5 years relevant experience in a technical discipline or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience with polymer characterization/testing instruments and equipment.
  • Training in laboratory safety and procedures.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
