Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our client's team in Parlin, NJ. This part-time contract position is ideal for a recent graduate or current Mechanical Engineering student interested in manufacturing, CAD, CNC programming, or machining.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or equivalent hands-on experience
- Current Mechanical Engineering students or related field able to work 20 - 30 hours per week will be considered
- Interest or experience with CAD, machining, CNC programming, or machine shop operations
- Familiarity with HAAS CNC lathes is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
