Overview

Smurfit Westrock is a leader in sustainable packaging, dedicated to creating efficient paper and packaging solutions. The Ville Mont-Royal facility employs over 150 people and focuses on maintaining production equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and service production and support equipment as per company needs.
  • Install, modify, repair, and maintain printing and conversion machinery.
  • Respond to maintenance requests based on priorities.
  • Participate in developing or updating preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.
  • Locate, install, modify, replace, and maintain piping and heating systems.
  • Clean and lubricate pumps, compressors, and other equipment.
  • Use measuring devices and take appropriate readings.
  • Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plans.
  • Order parts according to available catalogs.
  • Support production employees in their daily operations.

Requirements

  • DEP in Electromechanics of Automated Systems.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant industrial experience.
  • Versatility and excellent troubleshooting skills in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, motors, and control panels.
  • Team spirit and good oral and written communication skills.
  • Resourcefulness and ability to work independently.
