Overview

ESFM has an opening for a full-time Mechanic I position in Clark, NJ. The role involves operating and maintaining various equipment, while the company is part of Compass Group USA, focusing on integrated facilities management solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Operates and maintains all equipment, including HVAC systems and generators.
  • Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
  • Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using a company vehicle.
  • Inspects machines to identify malfunctions and dismantles them for repairs.
  • Replaces worn or defective parts and tests machine operation after repairs.
  • Reviews inventory and orders parts as needed.
  • Sets up and operates mechanical equipment and small hand tools for repairs.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
  • Exhibits professionalism with customers and colleagues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Mechanical inclination required.
  • Type I Refrigeration Certification.
  • Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license.
