Responsibilities

• Repairs and calibrates tools, pumps, and equipment requiring mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic repair and performs preventive maintenance services.
• Pretests hydraulic/pneumatic pumps, tools, and links for proper form, fit, and function.
• Troubleshoots, tears down, repairs, reassembles, and tests pumps, motors, and tools in the shop.
• Works with sales and service team members, engineers, and customers to meet repair requirements.
• Checks tools for safety decals and safe operating features and maintains an accurate schedule and record of maintenance.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service through cooperative, positive, and professional interactions.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in repairing and maintaining tools and/or equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and successfully repair equipment or tools and plan a logical approach to troubleshooting and prioritizing workload.
• Must have and be able to use own set of basic tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work with hands and in mechanically oriented situations.
• Must be a dependable team player with high energy and a strong commitment to quality output.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Computer proficiency and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to routinely lift 25-75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 lbs. or greater.
• Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching.
• Must be able to wear protective equipment as needed.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have clean and valid driver’s license.
