Overview

A well-established food manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support production and facility operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production and facility equipment.
  • Utilize CMMS software to document work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment repairs.
  • Support continuous production by identifying equipment issues, maintaining a safe work area, and following all safety and GMP requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience maintaining manufacturing equipment; electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, perform basic math calculations, and work with both standard and metric measurements.
  • Experience using diagnostic tools, CMMS systems, and industrial maintenance equipment; welding experience is a plus.

  • Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
  • Weekend work required based on preventive maintenance schedules, typically every other weekend.
