Overview

Burns Honda is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians for their Used Car Reconditioning Department. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning a variety of vehicles in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform used vehicle inspections and reconditioning
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical concerns
  • Perform brakes, suspension, steering, maintenance, fluid services, and general mechanical repairs
  • Identify safety and mechanical concerns during inspection
  • Complete repairs efficiently to help maintain Used Car Department inventory flow
  • Maintain accurate repair documentation
  • Communicate additional repair needs to management
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

  • Previous automotive technician experience
  • Ability to work on all makes and models
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Experience with used vehicle inspections and reconditioning preferred
  • Ability to identify needed mechanical and safety repairs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to the team
  • Dependable attendance and professional work habits
  • Commitment to completing repairs correctly and efficiently

Additional Information

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Every Other Saturday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • When scheduled to work Saturday, you will receive a day off during the week.
  • All applicants must have the ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and valid driver's license.
